    Pedro Alonso Lopez

    Pedro Alonso López is a Colombian serial killer, accused of raping and killing more than 300 girls across his native country, then Peru and Ecuador, and possibly other countries. Aside from uncited local accounts, López’s crimes first received international attention from an interview conducted by Ron Laytner, a long time freelance photojournalist who reported interviewing López in his Ambato prison cell in 1980.

    Dr Harold Shipman

    Harold Frederick Shipman was a British doctor and one of the most prolific serial killers in recorded history.
    On 31 January 2000, a jury found Shipman guilty of 15 murders. He was sentenced to life imprisonment and the judge recommended that he never be released. Shipman died on 13 January 2004, after hanging himself in his cell at Wakefield Prison in West Yorkshire. His suicide occurred one day before his 58th birthday.

    Daniel Camargo Barbosa

    Daniel Camargo Barbosa was a Colombian serial killer. It is believed that he raped and killed over 150 young girls in Colombia and Ecuador during the 1970s and 1980s. Camargo's mother died when he was a little boy and his father was overbearing and emotionally distant. He was raised by an abusive stepmother, who punished him and sometimes dressed him in girls' clothing, making him a victim of ridicule in front of his peers

    Pedro Rodrigues Filho

    Pedro Rodrigues Filho is a Brazilian serial killer. Nicknamed Pedrinho Matador and arrested in 1973, in 2003 he was convicted of murdering at least 71 people and sentenced to 128 years in prison. Filho was first arrested on May 24, 1973. He was sentenced to prison and killed at least 47 inmates while incarcerated. He later claimed a total of 100 victims. His total confirmed victims are 71, including his father.

    Gary Ridgway

    Gary Leon Ridgway is the American serial killer known as the Green River Killer. He was initially convicted of 48 separate murders and later confessed to nearly twice that number. As part of his plea bargain, an additional conviction was added, bringing the total number of convictions to 49, making him the most prolific American serial killer in history according to confirmed murders. He murdered numerous women and girls in Washington State during the 1980s and 1990s. Most of his victims were alleged to be prostitutes and other women in vulnerable situations, including underage runaways.

    Tommy Lynn Sells

    Tommy Lynn Sells was an American serial killer. Sells is believed by police to have murdered at least 22 people. Sells said he committed his first murder at age 16, while breaking into a house. While in the house, Sells discovered a man performing fellatio on a young boy. Sells killed the man in a fit of rage. On January 3, 2014, a Del Rio judge set Sells' execution date for April 3, 2014. Sells' death sentence was carried out at the Texas State Penitentiary in Huntsville.

    Andrei Chikatilo

    Andrei Romanovich Chikatilo was a Soviet serial killer, nicknamed the Butcher of Rostov, the Red Ripper, and the Rostov Ripper, who committed the sexual assault, murder and mutilation of a minimum of 52 women and children between 1978 and 1990 in the Russian SFSR, the Ukrainian SSR and the Uzbek SSR. He was convicted and sentenced to death for 52 of these murders in October 1992 and subsequently executed in February 1994.Chikatilo was known by such titles as the Rostov Ripper and the Butcher of Rostov because the majority of his murders were committed in the Rostov Oblast of the Russian SFSR.

    John Wayne Gacy

    John Wayne Gacy, Jr., also known as the Killer Clown, was an American serial killer and rapist who sexually assaulted and murdered at least 33 teenage boys and young men between 1972 and 1978 in Chicago, Illinois. All of Gacy's known murders were committed inside his Norwood Park Township home. His victims would typically be lured to this address by force or deception, and all but one victim were murdered by either asphyxiation or strangulation with a tourniquet. Gacy buried 26 of his victims in the crawl space of his home. Three further victims were buried elsewhere on his property, while the bodies of his last four known victims were discarded in the Des Plaines River. Gacy was sentenced to death for 12 of these killings on March 13, 1980. He spent 14 years on death row before he was executed by lethal injection at Stateville Correctional Center on May 10, 1994.

    Charles Ng

    Charles Chi-Tat Ng is a serial killer. He is believed to have raped, tortured and murdered between 11 and 25 victims with his accomplice Leonard Lake at Lake's cabin in Calaveras County, California, in the Sierra Nevada foothills 150 miles east of San Francisco. After his arrest and imprisonment in Canada on robbery and weapons charges, followed by a lengthy dispute between Canada and the United States, Ng was extradited to California, tried, and convicted of 11 murders. He is currently on death row at San Quentin State Prison.

    Leonard Lake

    Leonard Thomas Lake was an American serial killer. He often used the alias Leonard Hill. The crimes he committed with Charles Ng became known after Lake committed suicide by taking cyanide pills shortly after being arrested for a firearms offense. Videotapes found at his house gave evidence of the pair having kidnapped and killed numerous persons; they are believed to have killed from 11 to 25 individuals.
